The challenge is designed to encourage youth to use their energy to solve world problems through the power of entrepreneurship. \nThis challenge has been successfully implemented at Uncommon Schools\, Newark High School\, Avondale Meadows Academy\, Martha’s Table\, City of Santa Monica\, Valley Education for Employment System and many other institutions and homes. My Own Business Challenge is the premier way to encourage youth to be economically empowered\, productive citizens and conscious transactors! If you want your youth to change the world through the power of entrepreneurship and creativity\, this challenge is for you! \nYouth will learn how to build apps and storyboard via Today at Apple @ the Apple Store in Santa Monica\, CA on 5/28/19. \nInvestment will be provided by the Youthful Savings Foundation for all those that complete the program.

SUMMARY:Youth Dispute and Conflict Resolution Seminar
DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this event is to bring adults and children together in order to better understand how to resolve conflict that arises in the lives of our youth. Each participant will receive a copy of our Dispute and Conflict Resolution learning exercise. Youth are encouraged to bring a loved one that they may be experiencing conflict with. \nThis event will be facilitated by Somya Munjal and Antonio Godinez.  Somya is the founder of Youthful Savings and certified in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation. Antonio is a Santa Monica resident since birth who has experienced gang violence and gentrification throughout his life. Together\, Somya and Antonio will offer insight on how the youth can be the change when it comes to conflicts and disputes.
